[전문] 미·북 싱가포르 정상회담 공동성명   <o:p></o:p>도널드 트럼프 미국 대통령과 북한 김정은이 6월 12일 싱가포르에서 사상 첫 미·북 정상회담을 갖고 공동성명에 서명했다. 다음은 공동성명 전문.   <o:p></o:p>   <o:p></o:p>도널드 J. 트럼프 미합중국 대통령과 김정은 조선민주주의인민공화국 위원장의싱가포르 정상회담 공동성명   <o:p></o:p>도널드 J. 트럼프 미합중국 대통령과 김정은 조선민주주의인민공화국 국무위원회 위원장은 2018년 6월 12일 싱가포르에서 역사적인 첫 정상회담을 가졌다.   <o:p></o:p>트럼프 대통령과 김정은 위원장은 새로운 미·북관계 수립 및 항구적이고 견고한 평화체제의 구축에 관한 포괄적이며 심도 있고 진심 어린 의견을 교환했다. 트럼프 대통령은 조선민주주의인민공화국에 안전 보장을 제공해 주기로 약속했으며, 김정은 위원장은 한반도의 완전한 비핵화에 대한 그의 확고부동한 약속을 재확인했다.   <o:p></o:p>트럼프 대통령과 김정은 위원장은 새로운 미·북관계 수립이 한반도와 세계의 평화 및 번영에 기여할 것을 확신하고 상호 신뢰 구축이 한반도의 비핵화를 촉진할 수 있음을 인정하면서, 다음과 같이 선언한다.   <o:p></o:p>1. 미합중국과 조선민주주의인민공화국은 평화와 번영을 바라는 양국 국민들의 염원에 따라 새로운 미·북관계를 수립해 나가기로 하였다.   <o:p></o:p>2. 미합중국과 조선민주주의인민공화국은 한반도에 항구적이고 안정적인 평화체제를 구축하기 위해 협력할 것이다.   <o:p></o:p>3. 조선민주주의인민공화국은 2018년 4월 27일의 판문점 선언을 재확인하며, 한반도의 완전한 비핵화를 지향할 것을 약속한다.   <o:p></o:p>4. 미합중국과 조선민주주의인민공화국은 전쟁포로 및 실종자 유해 발굴을 약속하며, 이미 확인된 유해는 즉각 송환한다.   <o:p></o:p>트럼프 대통령과 김정은 위원장은 역사상 첫 미·북 정상회담이 양국 사이 지난 수십 년간의 긴장과 적개심을 극복하고 새로운 미래를 열어 나가는 큰 의미의 획기적인 사건임을 인정하면서, 이 공동합의문의 조항들을 완전하고 신속하게 이행하기로 하였다. 미합중국과 조선민주주의인민공화국은 미·북 정상회담 결과를 이행하기 위해 가능한 빠른 시일 내에 마이크 폼페이오 미 국무장관과 조선민주주의인민공화국의 해당 고위 관료 간의 후속 협상을 개최하기로 하였다.   <o:p></o:p>도널드 J. 트럼프 미합중국 대통령과 김정은 조선민주주의인민공화국 국무위원회 위원장은 새로운 미·북관계 발전과 한반도 및 세계의 평화, 번영, 안전 보장을 촉진하기 위해 협력하기로 하였다.   <o:p></o:p>도널드 J. 트럼프미합중국 대통령   <o:p></o:p>김정은조선민주주의인민공화국 국무위원회 위원장   <o:p></o:p>2018년 6월 12일싱가포르 센토사 섬   <o:p></o:p>   <o:p></o:p>   <o:p></o:p>Joint Statement of President Donald J. Trump of the United States of America and Chairman Kim Jong Un of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea at the Singapore Summit   <o:p></o:p>President Donald J. Trump of the United States of America and Chairman Kim Jong Un of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) held a first, historic summit in Singapore on June 12, 2018.   <o:p></o:p>President Trump and Chairman Kim Jong Un conducted a comprehensive, in-depth, and sincere exchange of opinions on the issues related to the establishment of new U.S.–DPRK relations and the building of a lasting and robust peace regime on the Korean Peninsula. President Trump committed to provide security guarantees to the DPRK, and Chairman Kim Jong Un reaffirmed his firm and unwavering commitment to complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.   <o:p></o:p>Convinced that the establishment of new U.S.–DPRK relations will contribute to the peace and prosperity of the Korean Peninsula and of the world, and recognizing that mutual confidence building can promote the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula, President Trump and Chairman Kim Jong Un state the following:   <o:p></o:p>1. The United States and the DPRK commit to establish new U.S.–DPRK relations in accordance with the desire of the peoples of the two countries for peace and prosperity.   <o:p></o:p>2. The United States and the DPRK will join their efforts to build a lasting and stable peace regime on the Korean Peninsula.   <o:p></o:p>3. Reaffirming the April 27, 2018 Panmunjom Declaration, the DPRK commits to work toward complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.   <o:p></o:p>4. The United States and the DPRK commit to recovering POW/MIA remains, including the immediate repatriation of those already identified.   <o:p></o:p>Having acknowledged that the U.S.–DPRK summit—the first in history—was an epochal event of great significance in overcoming decades of tensions and hostilities between the two countries and for the opening up of a new future, President Trump and Chairman Kim Jong Un commit to implement the stipulations in this joint statement fully and expeditiously. The United States and the DPRK commit to hold follow-on negotiations, led by the U.S. Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, and a relevant high-level DPRK official, at the earliest possible date, to implement the outcomes of the U.S.–DPRK summit.   <o:p></o:p>President Donald J. Trump of the United States of America and Chairman Kim Jong Un of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea have committed to cooperate for the development of new U.S.–DPRK relations and for the promotion of peace, prosperity, and security of the Korean Peninsula and of the world.   <o:p></o:p>DONALD J.
